How to Dress like Scene Girl
Dressing like a scene girl is sooooo easy, just ware loads of make-up, you don’t have to be able to match either because dressing like a scene queen means lots of clashing patterns and crazy hair.
Firstly, you need to take a look at all the clothes you already have and think about how you could make them scene, if you have an old pair of simple blue jeans then cut them into short shorts and rip them up a bit and ware fish nets or long socks with them, simple. Or a plain white T-shirt, take lots of coloured sharpies and write loads of things on it, get our friends to doodle on it, then tie a knot in one corner because scene girls ware tight tops, things like that, go green scene.
Secondly, if you don’t already have some get some black and lots of different coloured eye liners and lippy, make it heavy but not so you look like a badger because that is not a good look. do stars or hearts something at the corners of your eyes, or do something to make you look a bit different, also use lots of mascara or fake eye lashes, in different colours. Then paint your nails black or lots of different colours and scratch them up a bit.
Now take your converse or vans and draw all over them, write song names and lyrics, friends names and band members and other stuff
3 customize bags and stuff too but not to the extent ware you look like a tramp who found there shoes in a pizza hut bin.
Now for your hair. To scene queens hair is everything. If you have long hair then you could get a mullet and have stripes done at the front, or if you have shorter hair then you can get hair extensions. Put in loads of hair spray in to keep it’s shape, but good quality stuff because card board hair is horrible >:( Have lots of colour, bows, ribbons, clips and head bands and you’ll be fine…as long as it looks remotely like the picture then your good.
Now, the most important thing of all…clothes!!! Go to blue banana or any other punk/emo/scene shop to get the following must have scene items…
* Black skinny jeans
* Coloured or patterned skinny jeans
* Lots of bright coloured tights and socks/stockings.
* A band T-shirt
* A tutu and shorts
* Tones of accessories like the ones in the photo, cupcakes, batman, smiley’s and neon colours!!
Now, don’t be afraid to go outside waring about 100,00,000 different colours because that’s scene queen, that’s you.
